Since
1964 Carolinas Concrete
Pipe and Products
Association (CCPPA)
has represented the
concrete pipe and
pre-cast concrete
industries in the
Carolinas. We are
committed to sharing the
latest technology and
industry information
with professionals
through out the
Carolinas.
Currently, eighteen
concrete pipe plants
operate in North and
South Carolina. In a
report prepared for
CCPPA and based on
primary data collected
from five members from
2004-2006 and secondary
information from a
variety of state
departments and industry
associations, the
importance of the
concrete pipe industry
in the Carolinas is
clearly established.
Employing almost 600 in
the two states, these 18
plants gross an
estimated $142,520,000
in sales. With raw
materials purchased
locally, along with
gasoline, local
utilities for water and
energy and many other
products and services
within these
communities, the
concrete pipe companies
have an important place
in the economies of
these two states.
